I've come across a post or two here and there dealing with similar problems to mine, but haven't seen a response to them.

My problem is this: I'm using FMP 5.0 and Claris HomePage 3.0 I've set up the Web Security database to restrict certain functions. When I submit an action, like -find or -new, the login pop-up box displays and I enter my username and password. The problem lies in that when I click OK to submit the info, I get the message Error #4.

After seeing this I clicked the back button in the browser and resubmitted the information and it worked fine.

Could someone tell me why Filemaker tells me the command is unknown, then proceeds to let me do whatever I want in a supposedly secure database?
