Hi:

Is there a way to import from a .csv file and have a serial number field auto-populate? Any script examples are welcome.

If you have an auto-enter serial number, a 2nd dialog of the Import will ask you whether you want auto-enter options to happen. You'd check it [x]. It will run all auto-enter options you have set, including incrementing the serial number.

Hi there. Just a quick question. I have an existing database in FM 3 that I'm tailoring to import into an FM 8 file. When I put in a serial number field in the old converted database, import it into the new database, the serial number doesn't show up.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
