Newbies Pheylan Posted July 27, 2006 Newbies Posted July 27, 2006 Hi all, First, let me apologize if I am reposting a previously answered question. I searched, both this site and others, and didnt' find anything that would answer my question. We are currently running FM Server 5.5 on Windows 2003 Server. We are gearing up for moving to Server 8. Assuming that the hardware is capable, is it possible to run 5.5 and 8 on the same server, both from an install/execution space standpoint, and from file serving and potential cross-pollination perspective. Thanks, Kelly
Steven H. Blackwell Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 No. There will be port conflicts. Besides, it's not such a good idea. Also, it might violate your FMI license depending on what type license you have. Steven
