We have been running FMS 7 and FMP 7 & 8 clients for awhile now. We are looking to move clients and servers to 8 but wanted to know if anyone has had any issues, especially with ODBC and/or file corruption.

Be sure to go all the way to Server 8.0v4. Your clients will need to go to 8.0v3 if you have 8. Otherwise they will go to 8.5v1.

Be aware that Server 8 is much more rigorous that prior versions about checking for file damage.

There are some FMI Tech Infos about managing remediation for damaged files.
