Unable to access database

I recently added passwords to our customer database. Here is the problem I am having.

Contractor 1.

WinXP Pro

Filemaker 6 connecting to Filemaker Server 5.5

No Problems

Contractor 2.

WinXP Home

Filemaker 5 connecting to Filemaker 5.5

When using a database password with no restrictions, connect just fine.

When using a password with browse a/o edit restrictions based on the contents of a specific field, I get the following error message:

This password does not enable you to perform this operation.

When I give that password full rights, it connects just fine.

Any ideas?
