Has anyone else experienced problems with popup menu's or drop down lists not popping up?

We have two Mac's (G5 PowerPC OSX 10.3.9 and iMac OSX 10.4.7) on which the ‘GoTo Field’ script step does NOT pop-up the value list. Drop-down lists are OK, it’s just the pop-up menus.

On PC's both types of list pop-up with the 'GoTo Field' step.

However we did have one PC (running XP Pro) stop popping-up on lists and menus and I don’t know why. I think it went into Standby or Hibernation because the user left it on overnight and a complete restart fixed the problem.

The PC problem could just be a fluke, but the Mac problem is annoying. Does anyone know how I can fix this or why the menu’s are not popping up?

On the Mac, pop-up menu's don't automatically pop open. You have to click into them.

Try using a drop-down list instead. It also has the ability to be completely controlled through the keyboard.

Thanks for replying so quickly. It's a shame I can't open the menu through a script on Macs. The reason I didn't want to use lists is because the user can enter into them.

Oh well, guess i'll just have to live with it and put validation on the field or something.
