I would like my users to be able to enter addresses or Lats/Long and be able to click a button and map those point.

I would like the map to have IDs for the locations.

I have read some different threads in here but am still unclear about the best way to approach this or what extra software is needed.

My users are running FM 8.0. I have FM Pro Advanced. All users are server based.

Unfortunately it's not going to happen without external software from what I have figured out.

That statement is assuming your users are using FMPro client software. If your users are connecting via IWP then it could be possible via the new PHP APIs and other existing mapping APIs.

Does it exist yet? My guess is probably not. :) But I would say it's entirely possible to get FM and Google Maps talking somehow.
