drop down from another record values

Featured Replies

Hi. I have a record called sale transacrion (talking about B2B business)

I have there a field of the company that we sold TO

and I want this field to be a drop down list taking the values from the existing table that stores companies data -

I want the drop down list to take its values from that table's "Company name" field.

how should I define that (field & layout)

thanks alot.

But I have more difficult question

I want to use lookup from couple of fields to construct the "company data"

I want that by selecting company name (which is taken from all the available companies in "companies" table) there will be filled all the other data relevant to that company into one field. like phone+address+city+state+zip

can I do it?
