I have a TO with the classes I teach. Each class/semester is a different record in that table. They all have unique IDs and are all labeled by the dates they are taught. What I want is to have a portal in a different TO that will show all the classes I am teaching this semester. I will use a drop down menu on that layout to pick which semester I want to see. Any and all help I can get is appreciated.

I believe you can create a global field on the layout with an associated value list of semesters. You can then associate the global field with the classes/semester table. By changing the global field it should dynamically filter the portal contents to show only the semester you have selected.
