My demo for FM 8.5 has run out, so I can't test this myself.

Is there any way to download a file with the web viewer and have FM save it to a specific location on a local drive? I'm looking at downloading a 100mb file on an automated basis, and then being able to work with that file later in FM.

FileMaker will know the URL to get the file, and it'll have a nice spot on a local drive to save the file. I just need FM to handle the download, and it would be nice if it could give the user some kind of progress dialog while it's working.

Any ideas?

Wouldn't everyone love to be able to give the user any sort of progress dialog?
