yet another problem

These all came about when we upgraded to v.8....

We have a list of groups which people are a part of. They are called "Happening #55, #56, etc." It won't allow us to search by these groups. I know it's because of the number sign. Is there a way to fix this without losing all the data?

Run a scripted replace on the entire set of record substituting # with something else:
