I am trying to upgrade a Mac mini G4 Power PC to Server 8.04 from Server 8.02. As soon as I get to the screen "Items remaining to be installed 235

Searching Macintosh HD" the installer appears to lock up. I can't move the window. Clicking on the "Stop" button has no effect.

Choosing "Force Quit" shows that the installer is "..not responding..."

I tried to repair permissions but that had no effect. Thanks in advance. JJ

You may need to go to 8.0v3 first. Also, if you are connected to the network or have mounted volumes disconnect.
