Some Drop-down lists/Pop-up menus I've used in web interfaces set the initial selection to the middle of the list, instead of the first value, resulting in less scrolling overall for lists without weighting, e.g., a list of states/provinces, etc. This would be a nice option in FM, even if scripting can do it, and even in addition to type-ahead.
