tarheel Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I need help writing a bar graph script. This bar graph will consist of several fields in which I want to change the color. I will use fields Start Date, Due Date and % complete for the calculations. I want to use a calculation that gives me a number that I can to use to change the color of several fields thus producing a color bar graph. Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks, Bob...
Ender Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 For a simple bar that's based on the percent complete, you could use a repeating calc, as in this sample: http://fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/137110/
tarheel Posted October 10, 2006 Author Posted October 10, 2006 Thanks ender. I looked at that example and I will give the repeating fields a try. Can't see the script code because Scriptmaker is grayed out. There is always a way if you can just see the light! Bob...
Newbies shane savana Posted January 8, 2007 Newbies Posted January 8, 2007 I have (I think) a similar problem, and I'm wondering, Ender, if this script can be used to help me. I want the percent complete bar for project tracking. That is to say that if a project has 10 tasks and a person completes five of those tasks in a day then when they log at the end of the day that 5 tasks are complete, the project status bar would show 50% full. It would be a visual way to track the status of all projects in production. Is this something that is too far removed from your script? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Ender Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Welcome Shane, Actually, there's no script required for that, just the repeating calc and the graphics in the container fields. If you can pull apart the the demo, you should be able to figure it out.
Newbies shane savana Posted January 8, 2007 Newbies Posted January 8, 2007 I will give it a shot. Thanks!
