Printing summary pages

First, hello to the forum.

I have a problem and not sure this is the right place for the post but I'll ask anyway :.

I have a database wich stores traveling info needed for expense tracking, it has: no., date, name of the person who travels, costs of the trip, dates of arrival and returning, etc. There can be many such forms throughout the year. In my country we have to submit a summary of all these forms in several sheets of paper at the end of the year. So what I'm trying to accomplish is getting all those records to print like so:

page1: header, 25-30 records, footer

page2: header, next 25-30 records, footer

and so on...

What seems to bother me is wheater to use portal for this or what... I think this has to be possible. And ofcourse I have to be able to design header and footer, it has to look like an official form.

Many thanks in advance and sorry if my English sucks and you don't understand a thing ;).

I don't think you need to use a portal. Just print using a list view layout. FileMaker will try to place as many records on a page as it can. So, if you size the Body part to fit 24 to 30 records per page, that is what will print.
