I'm working on a project, that I think may be reasonably simple. But, with my super-newbie status in the world of FileMaker, I'd realy appreciate some feedback from people who actually know what they're doing.

The project if for a sign company, they make vinyl signage, do car wraps, magents...that sort of thing. They currently have a website that has a shopping cart, with use registration and such. They utilize QuickBooks as thier accounting / job info package. Here is what they've requested be done.

Quickbooks is quite expensive for multiple licenses, so they only have a couple, they don't need access to billing and invoucing information, but they wuld like to view and modify customer, and job information via a filemaker database.

The FileMaker portion of the project needs to do the following:

1. Display customer information from quickbooks.

2. Allow that information to be modified.

3. Display individual job information (Job type, description, start/end date)

4. attach multiple image files to a job

5. export job information to thier website (including the attached images)

I've been researching and reading for a while now and I'm affraid I've bitten off more than I can chew at the moment. I can get my Filemaker to display all the customer information, but I can't figure out how to let me browse thru the jobs related to that customer in the same layout.

I'm unsure how to export the data/images into the website(if it can even be done)

Is this project feasible? Am I in deep trouble or what?

Which product are you using to exchange information between FileMaker and QuickBooks? Is it FileBooks Link < http://filebookslink.com/ > or FM Books Connector < http://www.fmbooksconnector.com/ >?
