BlueByeU62 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I have a mini calendar that I purchased from Scriptology Themes. It looks like the little calendar on the forum, I would like to be able to click on any date showing and have it set another single date field with the date. If anyone could help me that would be great. Thank you.....Tina
Søren Dyhr Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Take a look at the datepickers templates on this site: http://www.spf-15.com/fmExamples/ If you really should need to execute a script, otherwise use the new fm8+ feature, to format a datefield as a calendar-popup. --sd
BlueByeU62 Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 Thank you I will look at the example that you gave. The reason I don't want to use the drop down calendar is that using iwp the calendar looks really awful i really don't like it at all. So I saw the scriptology themes that fm was giving away for free but only just 10 layouts, anyway i checked it out and then i saw that they had a really nice little mini calendar, looked good, was kind of open scripted so you could do something with it, however i just don't know how to do something with it! ha ha i will try the example and see if i can figure something out, i will let you know if i need more help. Thank you!
Søren Dyhr Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 A but then do you need to change the approach since the opening of new windows are grayed out in IWP.... By the way do we use a calc'field to produce the appropriate numbers and grid in our IWP solutions, cut up in 42 (...is it 42, I can't remember?) merge fields each designed as an individual button. --sd
BlueByeU62 Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 I already tested the iwp for this little calendar it looks really good, so i shouldn't have a problem. yes each button is scripted and yes it is a grid of 42 so i need to have a single script using i believe optional parameters directing to each of the grids. i don't if i'm making an sense? the calendar is the spitting image of the calendar on this forum on the left. however it greys out the dates that are in previous months or future months if you know what i mean (october 31 ends on a tuesday so the lite grey dates appear on wednesday and thru saturday for november ) thanks again!
BlueByeU62 Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 Ok the example that you sent is wonderful! If i could just figure out how to get the next months or the previous months dates to show on the calendar instead of white space that would be great. and then to be able to pick from that date as well. in the mean time, thank you so much, it will work in my solution perfectly! Thank you again....Tina
