I have created a solution in FMA 8.0v3 that is hosted on FM Server Adv 8.0v2. The clients are currently using FM 8.0v1.

There are some scripts that run perfectly on my Advanced copy but they do not run as expected on the clients FM 8.

Can this be due to the differences in versions? I am downloading the FM 8 updates right now, but was wondering if anyone had any insight into this.

Does FM Server Adv, FMA 8 and FM 8 software all need to be the same versions?

Well, the updates are there for a reason--they fix various bugs. If you could say what the script was that's behaving differently, someone may remember whether it was a bug in a particular configuration.

In general, the behavior of scripts should be pretty consistent across different versions, but there was an issue with Finds on unstored calcs with specific combinations of Server 8 and FileMaker 7 & 8. Updating both client and server to the latest rev fixed that.
