cwcrogan Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Hi, I know they're frowned upon by some, but I'd like to improve my opener file. I would like to do two things. First, is it possible to dynamically list the files available on the server in a local opener file? Second, I'd like to be able to open the remote file with the same user and password as was used for the local opener file - can this be done? Thanks in advance
Ender Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 First, is it possible to dynamically list the files available on the server in a local opener file? I don't think so. Anyway, it seems better to build a real navigation system that makes only the relevant files available, and to have the navigation system organized in a logical, user friendly manner. Second, I'd like to be able to open the remote file with the same user and password as was used for the local opener file - can this be done? If your opener file has the same accounts and passwords as the files it's scripted to open, those other files should open without any further login dialog.
