Hi,

I know they're frowned upon by some, but I'd like to improve my opener file. I would like to do two things. First, is it possible to dynamically list the files available on the server in a local opener file? Second, I'd like to be able to open the remote file with the same user and password as was used for the local opener file - can this be done?

Thanks in advance

I don't think so. Anyway, it seems better to build a real navigation system that makes only the relevant files available, and to have the navigation system organized in a logical, user friendly manner.

If your opener file has the same accounts and passwords as the files it's scripted to open, those other files should open without any further login dialog.
