import records - found set not recognized

Featured Replies

my solution performs a scripted imported from one table to another (scratch) table within the same file (copying the found records). This works fine with the file.fp7 version, BUT DOES NOT WORK WITH THE stand-alone file.USR version!! Specifically, it does not recognize the found set of files, but instead imports ALL files from the source table! Any idea why there is this crucial difference between the .fp7 file and the .usr file?

I don't know much about runtimes, but this sounds like a similar issue that people sometimes encounter with regular FileMaker Pro. It will import all records if:

1. The source file is closed.

2. The source file is open, but has more than one window open.

Let us know if neither of those explain it.

Thanks for the hints, but neither of those worked.

I think the problem was that I imported data from two (internal) tables into one (internal) scratch table. When I worked around that it started to work in the runtime.
