Files seen in Open Remote dialog, but not openable

Featured Replies

I have an out-of-state client running FM Server on 2003 Server. I've been able to open their FM files remotely (me as a FM client) and work on them without a problem until their server froze up a few days ago. Now if I try to open their hosted FM files remotely, I can see them listed under Available Files in the Open Remote dialog, but when I try to open them I get the dialog "FileName.fp7 could not be opened. Either the host is not available, or the file is not available on that host."

BTW Users on the client's LAN can open the hosted files without a problem.

Tried restarting FM services, and tried rebooting server

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I assume that's under "favourite" clients though... Maybe server IP has changed and port isn't forwarded correctly.. only thing that comes to mind but then i only ever do work via vpn soo i woudn't know.
