Images from filemaker getting truncated

When I attempt to output an image from a filemaker database 'container' field to the web using ASP, I only get the start of the image - the rest is missing.

After a bit of investigation, I found that I receive 2048 characters of the image's binary data. That number seems a little unlikely to be a random thing but I cannot find a setting that lets me increase the limit or remove it completely.

Any help much appreciated.

Can I really be the first one with this problem ? No mention of it elsewhere on the forums.
