I am totally new to Filemaker and am hoping that someone within the forums can point me in the right direction. Before I found this forum, I purchased "FileMaker Pro 8.5 Essential Training" from lynda.com and it has some good information most of which I believe will help as I get further along in this project however, it does not give any information regarding the initial database. I am totally stumped with the tables and fields portion of this. I cannot seem to wrap my mind around how to make my project work in Filemaker. I am trying to recreate what appears to be a database written in some other program but it appears to be a very simple program/database. The database is a product configurator that produces an estimate form and has been exported to a standalone executable but contains very little information. I would like to recreate this using Filemaker and add some other "basic" functionality like fields for name, address, phone & fax information as well as a field for a quote/estimate number. If anyone would possibly take a look at the current database, it is downloadable from SCBA Configurator the file is a zip file and is about 6mb in size. For anyone who does not want to download the database here is the screenshots of it, there appears to only be two layouts:

Layout 1 & Layout 2

Any help pointing me in the right direction to get started would be greatly appreciated.
