Filemaker 5.5 and Outlook 2003

I'm trying to run a script that sends emails using FileMaker 5.5. Outlook 2003 has a security feature that holds up every email for a few seconds so you can confirm that an unauthorized program is not using your computer to spam, virus etc. It's not so bad, but I have a lot of emails to send.

Does anyone know how to turn the security down? I've checked a couple Outlook forums and they weren't much help.

Thanks

Elgin

Hi Elgin!

There are only a couple of ways to avoid this message.

1) You can turn off this security dialog if your Outlook Mailbox is hosted by an Exchange Server.

2) Use Outlook Express. By default, Outlook Express has this same security dialog but under its settings you can supress the dialog.

3) Use our Outlook Manipulator plug-in. Of course it can do a lot more than send e-mail messages while suppressing the security dialog so it might be worth your while to take a look at it.

The plug-in can be found at: HTTP://www.productivecomputing.com/products.html
