Newbies zapata Posted November 15, 2006 Newbies Posted November 15, 2006 (edited) I've got a database with a field called "job #" which is a five digit number. How can I search for multiple job #'s at the same time? For instance, say I want to search for three job numbers --58347, 59315, 60301--and have Filemaker return 1 or 2 or all 3 records if they exist. Thanks. Edited November 15, 2006 by Guest
John Mark Osborne Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 You can use the New Request feature. Enter find mode like you usually do, enter your first job # and then choose New Requests from the Requests menu. This will add a second request, much like a second record, in which you can type the second job #. This will create an OR find. Keep entering new requests as long as you want and then click the find button to locate the job #1 or job #2 or job #3.
