I sure hope someone can help me with this. kind of ironic that I have spent more time trying to get odbc working than on major portions of the data base.

I have the Datadirect 5.4 driver and have used the Win XP control panel [Adm tools; ODBC] to "Add". This worked for user DSN but for System DSN, I get this error #2306.

"[DataDirect][ODBC Sequelink][sequelink Client]TCP/IP error, connection refused"

I get this when I press the '...' button. I cannot set up a file DSN either; same error.

I have tried the network sharing on and off. I have the odbc sharing on.

I need this to work so I can connect Tracer ODBC Link to the FM data base, to connect the pda in both directions.

Datadirect refuses to help; won't answer any questions. The PTS Home people for Tracer have been great and have tried very patiently even though it is not their problem.
