recover file problem

using filemaker advanced V8.03 on mac i recover a file with no problem.

the file work fine on Pc win xp home Fmp advanced 8.03 but if i try to recover it a message say "this file is not done using filemaker....".

I try to recover it because this file that work fine on a mac server it doesn't work in a xp server, only this file, i have other solutions that work fine.

Please help me.

Something's not clear. Are you actually running FileMaker Server? If so, on which OS?

In any case, you'll need a good backup when you go about a recovery. Remember: recovery is meant to retrieve the data, not the file structure. Read Knowledge Base Answer#1580 on filemaker.com to learn more about organizing the recovery process.
