I have a database with many tables. I need certain users who can amend layouts etc within specific tables only (this works fine). I also need these users to be able to create fields within the specific tables that they have access to. Right now, it seesm that only users with full admin rights can create fields.

Any help much appreciated.

You can script access to Define database for these users. But use this capability very sparingly.
