I'm trying to make a crew list that is first sorted by Department. when I put the Dept. name in a Leading Summary, nothing shows up, and when I put it in a Sub-Summary, it shows up in front of every entry. I just want the Dept. to be listed once in front of the top name.

Any ideas?

This should be just a matter of using a Sub-Summary by Department (Leading) part and a Body part. The Department field must fit entirely within the Sub-Summary by Department part and the Name field goes in the Body part. When the records are sorted by Department and viewed in Preview Mode or printed, the Sub-Summary part containing the Department will show itself. Make sure the Sort has Department before any other fields.
