List View vs Portal in Form View

I'd like to use a consistent GUI for the Contacts database I'm developing, with navigation buttons on the right. However, I can't follow this through to the List View (or table view, for that matter). So I thought I'd try and show the records (found set) in a portal on a Form layout so I can keep the GUI consistent.

Problem is, I can't get the relationship to work properly and display all records in the found set of the primary table. I'm using the field "ContactID" for the self join in both the primary Contacts table and the TO of it. I've tried the "=" operator as well as the "X" operator, neither of which is getting me the proper results.

Any suggestions.

John
