replaced attachment because there was an error.

Another very interesting demo Daniele!! I guess there is a lot of work on this to place on the layout every occurences of this grid repeating container field.

Maybe your file can be useful to 'pinpoint' some areas. Let's say a human body or a geographical map... An image on the background, then your grid module on the top layer.

By the way, and this is a sad particularity of FileMaker... Tooltips are very fast to be triggered on Windows but are slower on Mac. :o So your demo is working fine on Windows but on Mac, the user has to wait a bit after he click on the grid to see his red dot.

Thanks for sharing this.

Hi Homer

...that was the starting point !

Tooltips are very fast to be triggered on Windows but are slower on Mac.

Is it true with the new Intel based Macs ?

Cool demo. On my iMac Intel, core duo, 2 GHz, the 1st tool tip takes less than a second to appear, the normal interval for tool tips; but after that they update in real time as the cursor moves. Clicking to run the color script also takes less than a second; but you cannot move the cursor during that time, or you don't get a dot.
