I am fairly new to the Filemaker world. I have recently created two databases. My main database is called EmpMstr and it holds employee information including EmpNum. A secondary database called PayReg contains payroll information which also inlcudes EmpNum and a PayDate field. I have created a relationship and a portal that displays specific payroll information for a searched employee, but now I want to do a search on employee name and a beginning pay date and ending pay date, and then have the portal display just those records that meet that criteria.
