Some friends using Windows are having trouble reading or printing my pdf reports. I think it is because the Mac pdf function (in Preview software built into OSX) is interfering with Adobe Acrobat.

Some friends using Windows are having trouble reading or printing my pdf reports. I think it is because the Mac pdf function (in Preview software built into OSX) is interfering with Adobe Acrobat. I would prefer to have Acrobat create the pdf, as they seem more cross-platform compatible in general.

  • I have searched for prefs in FMP 8.5, Mac Preview, and Acrobat 8 that would let me set the default to Acrobat for pdf creation (though in most cases Mac pdfs are dandy and simple).
  • I have set the pdf options menu to 'Acrobat 6 or later', but still get Mac pdfs
