Configure and Schedules Disappear

I've found a strange pattern of behavior with FMS in that when I stop running the service, FMS deletes any schedules I've set up and any configurations I've set. The identifier for the web publishing engine disappears and I have to re-enter it.

This seems really counter to any software I've ever used.

Am I missing something?

If anyone know why this happens or how to fix it, I'd love to hear it.

I haven't seen this on my setup (FMSA 8v4, OS 10.4.7) but it sounds like maybe there's an issue with permissions not being set properly to allow writing the information to disk.

Just a guess..
