Help: Using "omit" function in runtime solution

Featured Replies

Howdy, all!

I was told recently that it was good practice not to allow users to have access to the gray Status Area bar in a runtime solution...which makes sense when you think about it. However, if a user were to perform a Find request without the Status Area present, then the "Omit" box--as well as the arguments they could select from for a "Find"--wouldn't be accessible.

I dabbled with the Custom Menus function and couldn't figure out a way to enter into the Requests menu the selection, Alt+O, which would enable/disable the Omit box. (There's still the issue of the list of arguments--I guess a custom window is in order for that?) Is there a way of getting "Omit...Alt+O" on a custom menu, or is there workaround for better Find control for runtime users?

TIA,

Rich
