Newbies nacredata Posted January 21, 2007 Newbies Posted January 21, 2007 I have a FileMaker runtime (both mac and pc) running a script loop with a many-minute delay. When a condition is met (new material downloaded from XML source in this case, but that is not important) I would like the FileMaker runtime to become the front application or send some sort of notice to the user who will be working on a different application (email, web surfing, etc) with the Runtime minimized or in the background. Is there a way to do this?
Newbies nacredata Posted January 21, 2007 Author Newbies Posted January 21, 2007 Haven't built the runtimes to test yet, but on my mac development machine under Advanced 8.5, it looks like having the script call minimize and then restore on the window works to bring the application to the front.
