Mac Server to Windows Client Problem

The popup menus that I created on a Mac, and now host on Server 8 (also on a Mac), behave strangely on a Windows 8.5 client. When I click on a popup menu and select an item, the whole field disappears. Works fine if on a Mac FM 8.5 client.

Any suggestions? I've tried resizing the field box to no avail.
