Hi, I have setup a relationship between a field in between two tables. Records can be created or deleted in one table via the relationship.

However, I would like to enable updating so if the data in the field in the main table is changed then the same value is used to update the related field in the other table.

I didn't see an option to enable this automatically. Is such an option available or do you have to program the update yourself in some way (via a script?).

Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm new to FileMaker Pro.

Auto-enter calcs won't update across the relationship. Instead use a script or if the field is not used as a match key in a relationship, you can simply show the related value.
