Newbies pennsy Posted February 24, 2007 Newbies Posted February 24, 2007 I want to make a library of PDF files available to my IWP users through Web Viewer. I can write a path that works on my machine, but am having trouble making it work in IWP. How do I write a path that will direct a web viewer in IWP to a PDF file on my host drive? I'm using Tiger at home and XP at work, if that helps. Peace, Pennsyltuckian

Newbies pennsy Posted February 25, 2007 Author Newbies Posted February 25, 2007 Thank you for being willing to help. May I impose one more time? Here is the path I am using. "file://///ibookb1.local/Macintosh HD/Applications/FileMaker Pro 8.5/English Extras/sphere_library/current ship schedule.pdf" Forgive me if this is really elementary. I'm self taught, and their are some holes in my education. Peace, Pennsyltuckian

Newbies pennsy Posted February 25, 2007 Author Newbies Posted February 25, 2007 Thank you for your help. Rather than test your patience, I'm going to do some more homework. I think I need to learn more about file paths in OS X before I can get my head above water here. I appreciate your help, and your reference to the previous thread. I'll keep it as a reference when I know more about what I'm doing. I'll let you know when I am up to speed.
