Newbies Derek40 Posted February 28, 2007 Newbies Posted February 28, 2007 I am evaluating FM as the database for our non-profit group (I am not a programmer so not too many scripts please!) I want to be able to print a 40 - 48 page booklet (letter sized, landscape orientation) with 4 columns accross the 2 page spread. The first 6-8 pages are group rules and a listing of officers, the remainding pages list 270 active members, and finally ~30 inactive members (who can reactivate). I have FM 8.5, Office 2003 and MS Publisher on my PC. I've managed to print out an example page or two of the active and inactive members from FM via Publisher (below) but am wondering if there's a better way to achieve my goal of being able to reprint the booklet "on demand" without a lot of instructions! I created a layout of the required membership data which varies from 6-8 lines per member depending on whether they have email address or not and printed it to a file. 5 of these member records fit per column. I then fed the file into Publisher for the relevant number of pages. Can anyone offer a better, more direct way from FM? So far I am liking what I see of FM! Thanks in advance Derek40
