Hi, I am having the following problem: I have set up an Excel Web query that collects updated stock quotes every two minutes. I then want to import updated quotes into my Filemaker solution. However, Filemaker does not 'see' the most recent data in the spreadsheet, but only the data from the original web query.

I have named the data range in Excel and select 'data range' when importing the data from the web query excel spreadsheet, but still FM 'sees' only the old data, not the updated data which is clearly visible in the Excel spreadsheet. Any ideas? Thanks. Russ

When you name a range in excel it sets the cells.

A1...P48

Are you allowing for additional data?

A1...P60?

The only problem with that is you may get the blanks as well.

Also, how are you getting the data into excel? Perhaps you to set a macro to automatically expand the named range?

Just a thought as to what the problem could be.
