Searching imported PDF-files?

Hi all,

I've been searching the forums for at solution, but could not find any info on this, so I hope this haven't been discussed endlessly already :)

If so, I apologize!

I have a large collection of PDF files (a weekly Mac-centric newsletter) that I'd like to import into a FileMaker database I've created. Obviously thats no problem, but is there a plug-in - or other method - that would allow me to search the *contents* of those PDF files?

Thank you for any help or pointers.

BTW I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty, if there's no "easy" way of doing this :)

I did a lot of FileMaker development up until 6 years ago, when I got a job creating Lotus Approach solutions (YUK!) but have now decided to get back on track, and do some freelance FileMaker development instead.

Obviously I need to catch up before doing any client work, so I'm currently digging back deep into everything FileMaker, and have stumbled upon the above challenge.
