Attendnace Tracking Script

Hello, I've got a major problem! I'm very new to Filemaker. I am making a database with Filemaker 8.5 (standard) and need to track peoples attandance every week. Every time a customer visits, a tally should be added to a counter, keeping track of their total number of visits by date.

I would like to set it up so that I could, for example, pull up the membership records for any given month and any given indivudual.

I'd like to see how many times they've attended and what dates they've attended.

I've experiemented with setting it up using a text and also a calculation field, but so far I haven't been able to get anything that works.

If you have any idea on how to create this, or anything even close then please send me a email at [email protected] as soon as possible!

thanks an incredible lot,

Melissa

Hi Melissa:

Welcome to the Forum. Attached is a quick and dirty way to do it. Of course you could also set it up in a list view as well. What I did was set up visit dates in a separate table since the relationship would be one to many. One Contact/many visits. It is easier to keep track of that way.
