Hi everyone, very new to server advanced and looking for some help please.

I installed FMS 8.04 on (non Intel) Mac hosted my files, installed FMSA 8.04 on the same Mac and accessed the hosted files via a browser. Brilliant... all works great.

Did the same installation on my Mac OS X Server (Intel) and I get an error in the Apple Server Web Log "caught SIGTERM, shutting down". So with FMSA installed apache (1.33) wont load.

Stop the Web Publishihg Engine and Uninstall FMSA, restart and all is well with the Mac server again.

Can someone pleae tell me if it is ssimple port conflict or a way around, many thanks.

More Specifically -- there is an Universal Binary version of 8v4 available from FileMaker. Although I am on VLA, they didn't mail it to me, but rather made it available for download from a special site.

I had a nightmare of a time trying to find out why I couldn't get my Intel Mac to start web services, until I determined that the culprit was Web Server Connector, which we use for our clients who are still using CDML for their databases.

Once I re-installed without Web Server Connector, everything went smoothly.
