Hello everyone,

I have a Parent table- P, Child table- C, GrandChild table- GC, and GreatGrandChild table- GGC. [Each uses its letter as a pk so Parents key is P_pk]

I am a novice from MSAccess and am trying to figure out how to generate a GGC, based on a specific GC, from a specific C from a specific Parent(p).

I have a layout for the P from which i can create a child in C.

My question is -Do i need to create a new layout so i can see/create a GGC from the Parent layout? and if so does it neccessarily involve global fields(which i don't understand)?

From a parent table i can create one child in C(lets call him charlie), but i don't know how to select and create Charlie's Daughter in GC or Charlies Daughter's Daughter. (a GGC)

How do I do this? Can i do it all from one layout in P- or do i need to create other layouts to choose and create GCC elements.

Thanks for you help,

-enki
