Release of New Server(X) Advanced??

We want to upgrade from FM Server7 Advanced. Does anyone know when a version newer than FM Server8 Advanced will be released? Thanks,..........Ray

According to that article and general rumour's, FM 9 is due to be released second half of this year...

Server 8v4 is a stable version. If you're worried about having to purchase another upgrade, buy the maintenance with it.

Contact your FMI Sales Rep for assistance. The recommendation to upgrade to FileMaker Server 8 is a good one, as is the maintenance option. You save a considerable amount of money by doing that.

FileMaker Server always lags the FileMaker Pro client release as far as I've seen. That said, I wouldn't expect a new FMSA anytime really soon - certainly not soon enough to hold off on purchasing FMSA 8.
