Printing PDF Content in a Webviewer B0rken?

I'm having difficulty printing a layout with a webviewer pointing to a PDF. On the screen, it renders fine. Beautifully, in fact. Does exactly what I want.

However, when I try to print a hardcopy, all I get is a blank rectangle. I've tried this with both a local PDF, and a PDF from Adobe's website. Nada in both cases.

HTML renders fine and prints fine, but I'm looking to do PDFs with the intention of including frequently-updated, high-resolution vector images as part of a spec sheet database.

Can someone confirm if this is indeed typical behavior of FM 8.5 on WinXP, or if I just have something messed on my end.
