Selecting a photograph to print

Hello

I have a small database I use in my class. The layout contains general information about a student as well as 3 photos.

I want to be able to produce a report (which I already have constructed) with the student’s information on it as well as one of the photos I select from the three.

How do I check or select any one of the 3 photos on the layout and it be the one that prints out on the report.

Thank you,

Kimberly

My computer is a Dell 9150 I use Filemaker 8 on XP Home if that helps

Hi Kimberly, firstly Welcome to the forums :)

Although this would be easier in a related structure, you can do this fairly easily nonetheless.

Take a look at the small example file attached.

Thank you for your help, I was kind of nervous about posing something as simple as this to a veteran group, but I just could not figure it out.

It took me a few minutes, but with a little help from our computer guy we were able to duplicate your solution into ours.

I teach 4th graders and I like to have a current photo and information sheet preprinted before we go on any trip in the event one gets lost, I have current information and photo for the police if needed.

Thank you for assisting me with this problem.

Kimberly

Besides lol, this definitely isn't the easiest question I've ever answered :)
