Is in FMSA8 Custom Web Publishing something like was in Filemaker Server 5 - databases with users and passwords who can log in to database?

I would like to make a database with usernames and passwords for website users who can login to their accounts. Something like online shop with basket.

Is it possible to log in to shop database with username stored in another (users) database?
