Setup up remote, now can't log in to local

A little background first.

I uploaded my FM file to my hosting provider who provides Instant Web Publishing. I wanted to have the db open in a web page w/o any login. What I discovered is that if it is setup as having only guest access (no admin access) in IWP will it do so. So far, so good.

I can log in as admin on the fmsa protocol and have complete admin access.

Here is where I'm encountering a problem. I have a local copy of the db that I want to use to generate reports, export html and the like. Why? Because it's faster.

I'm locked out of the local file. The File > Define menu item is grayed out.

File Options opens but won't allow access to the Open/Close tab saying "Your access privileges do not allow you to perform this action."

In configuring access for the remote file, did I change the access for the local file as well?

That's not really that important. All I want to know is how I can access my local copy with full admin access.

Any suggestions are welcome.

TIA.
